Enhancing Farmers’ Productivity in the Ring 1 Area, TIS Energy Delivers Hand Tractor Assistance through its Economic PPM Program

News 22 January 2024

TIS Energy, through its Blora working area, has delivered agricultural support in the form of two (2) hand tractors to communities in Gubug Subdistrict, Grobogan Regency, under its Economic Pillar of the Community Development and Empowerment Program (PPM).

The assistance was distributed to community groups in Gubug Village and Pranten Village, areas located in close proximity to the company’s operational sites within the Blora working area. This initiative reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity while strengthening the economic independence of communities surrounding its operations.

The program was designed based on the actual needs of the community, particularly to support the acceleration of land cultivation processes. With improved access to mechanized farming equipment, farmers are expected to optimize planting schedules, improve land processing efficiency, and ultimately increase agricultural yields in a sustainable manner.

General Manager of TIS Energy (Blora PSC), Heri Suryanto, stated that this initiative is part of the company’s PPM implementation aimed at creating added economic value for the community.

“This program is not solely focused on providing equipment, but also on improving the productivity and efficiency of farmers’ operations. We hope the benefits can be directly felt and sustained by the community,” he said.

In Gubug Village, where agricultural land spans hundreds of hectares, the availability of land processing equipment had previously been limited, affecting the optimization of planting schedules. With the addition of these hand tractors, the capacity for land cultivation is expected to increase significantly.

Through its Economic PPM programs, TIS Energy in the Blora working area continues to implement productive and sustainable initiatives, focusing on strengthening key local economic sectors. This approach aligns with the company’s commitment to supporting regional development while maintaining harmonious relationships with communities around its operational areas.

Moving forward, similar programs will be further developed in an integrated manner, including through the strengthening of village-level economic institutions, to ensure long-term and sustainable benefits for community welfare.
