Press Release 13 November 2025
TIS Energy, through its Blora Block Working Area, has received the Patra Nirbhaya Karya Pratama Award in the Exploitation category, recognizing the company’s success in managing oil and gas safety, implementing the Oil and Gas Safety Management System (SMK Migas), and achieving zero workplace accidents from 1 April 2022 to 30 April 2025. The award was granted based on the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 130.K/MG.01/MEM.M/2024, which outlines the guidelines for safety-related awards in the oil and gas sector. The award ceremony took place during the 2025 Oil and Gas Safety Communication Forum, organized by the Directorate of Oil and Gas Engineering and Environment of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, at the Technology Forum Building, LEMIGAS Oil and Gas Testing Center, South Jakarta, on Thursday (13/11).
Patra Nirbhaya is a national-level oil and gas safety award presented to companies that successfully operate safely, reliably, and without accidents. The Karya Pratama category represents recognition for companies demonstrating high and consistent safety performance. This achievement underscores TIS Energy’s dedication to ensuring the safety of its employees, facilities, and surrounding communities, while safeguarding the continuity of safe and compliant oil and gas operations. It also reflects the company’s commitment to strengthening sustainability initiatives through *Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)* principles, particularly within safety, operational environmental management, and corporate governance pillars.
Heri Suryanto, General Manager of TIS Energy (Blora PSC), stated that this recognition highlights the importance of the company’s established safety culture. “This award is concrete evidence that TIS Energy places safety as a fundamental value across all operations. Zero accidents is not merely a target, but a work culture we have built together. This recognition further strengthens our determination to conduct oil and gas operations that are safe, compliant with regulations, and aligned with sustainability and ESG principles,” he said.
This accomplishment is the result of comprehensive SMK Migas implementation, continuous occupational health and safety programs, strong safety culture development across operational aspects, effective risk management, and robust collaboration with regulators and stakeholders. With this award, TIS Energy reaffirms its position as an upstream oil and gas company that prioritizes professionalism, safety, and sustainable operations.
