Press Release 17 November 2025
TIS Energy, through the Sebuku Production Sharing Contract (PSC), has reaffirmed its commitment to workplace safety by earning three prestigious awards from both national and regional government institutions. As the operator of the Ruby gas field under the Sebuku PSC, TIS Energy received the following recognitions:
- Patra Nirbhaya Karya Utama Adinugraha I — awarded for achieving zero lost time incidents (LTI) within a specific reporting period.
- Patra Karya Raksa Tama — awarded for excellence in safety supervision and high performance in the Oil and Gas Safety Management System.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS/K3) Award from the Provincial Government of South Kalimantan — in recognition of maintaining zero lost time incidents (LTI) since 2013.
The Patra Nirbhaya Karya Utama Adinugraha I and Patra Karya Raksa Tama awards were presented by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) through the Directorate General of Oil and Gas at the LEMIGAS Oil and Gas Testing Center in Jakarta on Thursday (13/11/2025). Meanwhile, the South Kalimantan Provincial OHS Award was presented during the 2025 OHS Seminar in Banjarbaru on Thursday (9/10/2025) to the Sebuku PSC.
Representing TIS Energy’s management for the Sebuku PSC, Argo Rusdibyo expressed his appreciation for the recognitions. “Safety is not just a commitment but a core part of our work culture. These three awards are proof that consistent, disciplined, and measurable efforts can create a safe working environment for all personnel. We will continue to uphold these standards as part of our responsibility to our employees, partners, and the nation. On behalf of TIS Energy, I extend our appreciation and gratitude for the support from all stakeholders. We remain committed to ensuring that every operation in the Ruby gas field is carried out with the principle of safety first,” said Argo.
With more than 11 years without workplace accidents, TIS Energy—as the operator of the Sebuku PSC located offshore in the Makassar Strait—continues to demonstrate its dedication to building a safe, disciplined, and sustainable work culture. Consistent implementation of OHS principles is also an essential part of the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, particularly in ensuring worker protection and compliance with upstream oil and gas operational standards.
TIS Energy remains committed to supporting an upstream oil and gas industry that upholds integrity, efficiency, and sustainability.
