Grobogan – TIS Energy, through its Blora working area, continues to strengthen its commitment to community empowerment through the Nandur Alam Tata Tani Lestari (NATA TANI) Program in Pranten Village, Gubug Sub-district, Grobogan Regency. The program is designed to promote healthy, independent, and sustainable agricultural practices while enhancing the economic resilience of local farmer groups.

As part of the program’s implementation, TIS Energy collaborates with Joglo Tani Indonesia to provide education on pest and plant disease control for rice crops to dozens of farmers in Pranten Village. Through this initiative, farmers are equipped with practical knowledge to identify various types of pests, understand their attack patterns, and apply more environmentally friendly control methods to maintain agricultural productivity.

In addition, farmers receive training on the independent production of organic fertilizer using locally sourced materials. This training aims to improve farmers’ capacity to produce healthy plant nutrients, enhance soil quality, and reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers.

Beyond its focus on agriculture, TIS Energy also distributed six goats to the Pranten Village farmer group as part of efforts to strengthen productive economic activities. This livestock assistance is expected to serve as an additional source of income, managed collectively and sustainably.

TIS Energy General Manager, Heri Suryanto, stated that the NATA TANI Program is designed as an integrated approach that combines agricultural capacity building with the strengthening of the rural community economy.

“The Nandur Alam Tata Tani Lestari (NATA TANI) Program is designed as a long-term initiative to strengthen the resilience and self-reliance of communities surrounding our operational areas. The distribution of livestock to farmer groups in Pranten Village is part of an integrated approach between agriculture and livestock farming, aimed at creating a healthier and more sustainable production cycle,” he said.

He added that through the integration of livestock farming within the NATA TANI Program, animal waste can be utilized as organic fertilizer to support healthy agriculture, while also creating opportunities to improve the economic income of farmer groups.

“We hope this program will deliver tangible benefits, not only in terms of agricultural productivity, but also in improving community welfare in a sustainable manner,” he concluded.

All activities were carried out with the involvement of the village government, farmer groups, and local stakeholders as a form of collaboration and program transparency. This initiative also reflects TIS Energy’s commitment to implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in a tangible way at the village level.

Going forward, TIS Energy hopes that the NATA TANI Program will generate long-term impacts on improving the welfare of farmers in Pranten Village and serve as a model for sustainable, agriculture-based community empowerment.
