News 24 July 2025
Grobogan, July 24, 2025 – TIS Petroleum E&P Blora continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental conservation through its SiTandur program (Siap Tanam Dukung Ruang Hijau or "Ready to Plant, Support Green Spaces"). To commemorate World Environment Day and National Children's Day, TIS symbolically handed over 10 durian tree seedlings to the Grobogan Regency Environmental Office (DLH).
A total of 300 tree seedlings were planted, consisting of 150 fruit trees such as longan, avocado, guava, and durian, as well as 150 trembesi (rain) trees. The planting is being carried out in stages in collaboration with DLH Grobogan.
The symbolic handover took place at SDN 1 Pranten, as part of a cross-sector collaboration to green educational environments. The event was attended by representatives from DLH Grobogan, the Grobogan Education Office, SKK Migas Jabanusa Representative, sub-district and village government officials, as well as teachers and students.
Representing TIS, Government & Public Relations Supervisor Faisal Afif Pratama explained that the initiative targets schools to ensure the impact reaches various sectors, particularly education. The program is also implemented in collaboration with the Environmental Engineering Student Association (HMTL) from Diponegoro University.
“Tree planting is not only about reforestation, but also a symbol of future investment. Through this initiative, we also invited children to take part in reducing plastic use. We want them to grow up in a healthy, green, and sustainable environment,” said Faisal.
Acting Secretary of the Grobogan Education Office, Sudrajat Dangu Asmoro, expressed appreciation for the cross-sector initiative. According to him, children must be introduced to environmental values from an early age.
“The Education Office does not only focus on academics, but also on character building — and that includes environmental awareness. We are very open to future collaboration,” he said.
The event also received support from the School Principals Working Group (K3S), which hopes that environmental education programs like this can be expanded to other schools throughout Grobogan Regency.
Ari Mulyanto, representing DLH Grobogan, welcomed the collaboration and hoped it would inspire other private sector actors to actively participate in environmental initiatives.
This activity is part of TIS's ongoing Community Development Program, which will continue to be rolled out in several of the company’s operational areas in the coming year.
