News 28 January 2026
Grobogan — As a form of respect for local wisdom and cultural heritage, TIS Energy (Blora PSC) has donated three goats to the community of Pranten Village.
The assistance is intended to support the annual Nyadran tradition, a cultural ritual that holds deep spiritual significance for the local community.
General Manager of TIS Energy (Blora PSC), Heri Suryanto, emphasized that this contribution reflects the company’s commitment to preserving cultural values that remain deeply rooted in the community.
“This donation of three goats represents TIS Energy’s concern and commitment to preserving local cultural values. The Nyadran tradition is not merely a customary ritual, but also a means of strengthening solidarity and mutual cooperation among community members,” said Heri in his statement.
Heri hopes that the support will not only serve as material assistance, but also act as a bridge to strengthen the harmonious relationship between the company’s operations and the social life of the surrounding community.
Honoring Ancestors, Praying for Safety and Blessings
Appreciation also came from the Pranten Village Government. Putut Wisma, Head of Financial Affairs of Pranten Village, expressed gratitude for the social awareness shown by TIS Energy.
The donated goats will be slaughtered and used as part of the ritual offerings to honor the ancestors of Pranten Village, namely Mbah Sahsongko, Mbah Nur Ahmad, and Mbah Surodadi.
The ritual, scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026, will include communal prayers as well as the Hataman Al-Qur’an tradition.
Hopes for a Prosperous Village
For the people of Pranten, Nyadran is more than just a ceremonial event. Putut explained that the essence of the tradition is to pray for blessings and protection for the village.
“The purpose is to honor the village’s ancestors so that all residents may be granted safety and prosperity, protected from misfortune, and that the village may continue to thrive as a gemah ripah loh jinawi community — peaceful, prosperous, and fertile,” Putut concluded.
