News 31 October 2023
A broad smile graced the face of Maulida Nursalamah, a third-year student at Madrasah Diniyah Umsyahhamia, Pranten Village, Gubug District, Grobogan Regency. For the past two months, she and her friends have been able to study religion and recite the Quran more comfortably thanks to new tables and chairs provided by TIS Petroleum E&P Blora Pte. Ltd.
“The desks and chairs at our madrasah were badly damaged before. But now they’re new, so studying is much more enjoyable,” she said happily on Thursday (August 15, 2024).
“Fortunately, the tables and chairs are now better, so we don't have to worry about them collapsing at any time,” he continued.
Moreover, on August 3-8, 2024, Maulida and the other students took their midterm exams. With better tables and chairs, the students were able to write their answers on the answer sheets smoothly.
“Now, those who didn't do well on the exam are taking a remedial exam. The remedial exam is scheduled for August 10-15,” she explained.
TIS Energy, which acts as the Operator and Cooperation Contract Contractor (KKKS) of the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas), continues to show its concern for the surrounding community through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program.
One of these programs is the donation of 18 sets of tables and chairs to the Umsyahhamia Islamic School, located approximately 1 kilometer from the RBG-3B well site. The donation was handed over on July 30, 2024, with the approval of SKK Migas.
TIS Energy's public relations officer stated that this CSR program is part of the company's commitment to supporting religious education for the younger generation. Moreover, SKK Migas has also been focusing on education as it is the key to creating an excellent generation and achieving national progress.
"From the beginning, we saw that the learning facilities at this madrasah were inadequate. With this assistance, we hope that the children here can study better. They are the future generation.
